Forest School

Environment & OutdoorsAges 13+ (guidance)

£35 per session · members £30 · bursary £22.50

A new teen forest school led by Beth and Charlie in partnership with Westbury Wildlife Park, offering nature exploration, connection and bushcraft skills for young people who want to get outdoors. Sessions follow the seasons and include foraging, shelter building, fire lighting, campfire cooking, wood carving and natural art, with young people helping to shape the activities and pursue their own interests, with opportunity to work towards the John Muir Award. The group also works with the Park's ranger on real conservation tasks, such as building and managing a new pond, fostering a genuine sense of stewardship for the natural world in a supportive, inclusive atmosphere.
